So, this is an odd question, but I'm going to ask it anyway...

What are your opinions on online dating? Is it a wise idea? I'm just wondering if it would be worth it. It isn't exactly easy for me to go out and meet people.

It's easier to be fooled, and when you meet up with a stranger they may force you into a back alley and stab you in the dark.

Granted, I haven't been stabbed enough times to tell you it's the norm, but it's what I would do. The other person has their defences down; it would be a simple task, especially for somebody who is unable to escape quickly.

*I* would say to forget the idea entirely-- normal dating isn't devoid of stabbing either. But your dog can bite and is very capable of dragging a body out of the alleyways. I think the experience would be good.

Okay. Just because you might get stabbed in the back on a first date doesn't necessarily mean you should preemptively kill your online date. That'd be murder, and is illegal.

Hn. What's up with the online thing anyways? You can meet people anywhere, like bookstores or dog parks. Then you don't have to drive everywhere to meet up, and you already know their tastes in books and whether Chopin approves.

I...want people to get to know me without judging me for my disability first...The cane, the dog, and the limp are apparently no go's for a lot of people.

You can whack people with canes when they're being mean, and dogs are supposed to be cute. I don't think it's as big a problem as you make it out to be.
